Visit Parliament House
A visit to the Parliament of NSW provides a rare opportunity to explore a significant 19th century historic site while also observing the workings of democracy in a modern parliament.
The Parliament is open to the public weekdays from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm throughout the year, with the exception of most public holidays and over the two week closure for the Christmas and New Year break. The Parliament is open on Australia Day.
The Parliament of NSW building is located in Macquarie Street, closer to Hyde Park than Circular Quay, close to Martin Place Railway station and Elizabeth Street buses.
