Why we need a promise register

More and more we're seeing members of the NSW Government visiting us in Barwon, sometimes I'm told about these meetings but more often than not I don't know they're coming.

I welcome them visiting Barwon and seeing and hearing what's happening in our communities. I do however want to make sure that they are held to account on any promises they make in these meetings.

There have been a number of instances now where Government representatives have promised to do one thing in the community and on arrival to Parliament have failed to act.

As a member of the crossbench, it is my sole focus to advocate for your needs. Which is why I am giving you this forum to lodge any promises the Government has made to you, so I can hold them to account on your behalf.
