Phil joins me on the road in Barwon
This week Phil Donato, the Member for Orange and Deputy Leader of the Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party is joining me on the road in Barwon.
Phil has been keen to head out with me since I was elected, his trip is even more timely as he sits on the Investment, Industry and Regional Development committee that’s currently looking into Support for drought affected communities in New South Wales.
The committee is looking at the impacts of drought on our communities and identifying what actions the government can take in relation to businesses, economies and communities.
Today I’ve taken Phil to Nevertire, Nyngan, Brewarrina and Bourke where he’s had the opportunity to talk to local business owners, residents and Councils.
Tomorrow we head to Louth, Tilpa and Wilcannia where we’ll meet with farmers and the community.
Phil’s a fantastic ally of mine in the NSW Parliament, going into bat for regional communities and making sure we receive our fair share.
If you’re looking to catch up with us we’ll be in:
• Shindy's Inn Louth on Tuesday 21 January 10.00-11.00am
• Tilpa Hotel & Pub on Tuesday 21 January 1.30-3.00pm
• Maidens Hotel on Wednesday 22 January 6.30-7.30pm
